Typeglot Terms of Service.

1. Operator and scope

Who provides Typeglot.

Typeglot is operated under the ERGON LABS brand. The legally registered Polish sole proprietorship is ERGON LABS Francescantonio Addario, at ul. Józefa Jedynaka 16, 32-020 Wieliczka, Poland, NIP 6751423224, REGON 22515827. Email: hello@typeglot.com. Telephone: +48 790 379 791.

These product-specific terms govern access to the Typeglot Windows application and related Typeglot services. When you purchase a subscription, Creem acts as merchant of record and contractual seller or reseller for the payment transaction. Creem's Buyer Terms also apply to checkout, payment, invoicing and the customer portal. Typeglot remains responsible for product delivery, support, conformity and access. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

2. The service

What Typeglot provides.

Typeglot is a cloud-connected portable application for 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. It requires a working microphone, internet connection and permission to paste into the selected destination application. It converts speech into text, can format dictated language and can produce text in a selected output language. You remain responsible for reviewing output before relying on it or sending it to another person or service.

Typeglot is not a medical, legal, financial, emergency or safety-critical service. Do not rely on automated output where an error could cause serious harm without appropriate human review.

3. Trial and free access

Try Typeglot without a payment method.

• An eligible new user may receive one seven-day Typeglot-controlled trial after verifying an email address and accepting the current Terms and Privacy Policy.
• No card, Typeglot password or website account is required for the trial.
• The trial permits up to 60 audio minutes per day, 300 audio minutes across the full trial and 120 seconds per dictation.
• After the trial ends or its total allowance is reached, access moves to the permanent free plan unless the user purchases.
• The free plan permits 10 accepted dictations per UTC day, each strictly shorter than 2 minutes (120 seconds).
• Trial and free eligibility are enforced server-side. Deleting local files does not create a new trial.

4. Paid subscriptions

Monthly and yearly plans.

• Monthly plan: USD 7.90, tax inclusive.
• Yearly plan: USD 69.90, tax inclusive.
• There is no weekly launch plan.
• Paid access is described as unlimited, subject to a 240-minute daily emergency safety limit designed to prevent automated abuse.
• Invoice details and the amount displayed at checkout are handled by Creem as merchant of record.

Promotional codes may temporarily reduce the first invoice. A creator referral may provide 15% off the first paid invoice where the applicable code is valid.

5. Licence and instances

One key, up to three portable instances.

A paid or complimentary Typeglot licence is personal to the authorised recipient or organisation and may not be sold, published, shared publicly or used to operate a resale or shared-access service.

• One paid licence permits up to three active portable Typeglot instances.
• The licence key is used for registration or recovery. Typeglot uses a protected instance credential for ordinary requests.
• If all three places are occupied, contact support. Typeglot will not automatically remove the oldest instance at launch.
• Typeglot may revoke licences issued by mistake, obtained fraudulently, shared unlawfully or used in material breach of these terms.

6. Your content

You keep responsibility for what you dictate.

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You give Typeglot only the limited permission needed to process the current request, return the result, protect the service and meet legal obligations. You must have the right to dictate or process the content and must not use Typeglot to violate another person's privacy, confidentiality, copyright or other rights.

7. Acceptable use

Use Typeglot lawfully and fairly.

The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. It prohibits unlawful activity, malware, credential theft, abuse of trials or licences, automated resource exhaustion, circumvention of limits and interference with service security.

8. Availability, updates and service changes

A cloud-connected product can experience interruptions.

Typeglot may be unavailable during maintenance, provider incidents, network failures or security events. Typeglot does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Previously verified paid users may receive limited cached access during eligible temporary incidents under the commercial access policy.

Typeglot supplies updates needed to maintain security and conformity for the period required by law. Only the current public desktop version is supported. A security or compatibility issue may require an update before continued use.

Typeglot may change the service for security, legal compliance, provider changes, compatibility, abuse prevention, reliability or material product development. A change will not add a charge merely because the service changed. Material adverse changes will be explained in advance on a durable medium where required, including any statutory right to terminate without cost.

9. Cancellation, withdrawal, refunds and payment problems

Manage billing through the merchant flow.

A scheduled cancellation preserves paid access through the already-paid period. If a renewal becomes past due, paid access continues temporarily while payment recovery is in progress and Typeglot may show a payment warning. Confirmed unpaid status, completed refund or chargeback removes paid access and returns the user to the free plan where eligible.

An EU consumer generally has 14 days to withdraw from an online contract without giving a reason. Typeglot does not treat receiving a key or making a first dictation as an automatic loss of that right. Where the consumer expressly requests immediate performance and then validly withdraws, a lawful proportionate amount may be payable for service already provided.

Use the prominent online withdrawal function or email Typeglot. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Refunds for Creem transactions are processed through Creem, while Typeglot handles product support and product-specific eligibility subject to applicable law and Creem's Buyer Terms.

10. Intellectual property

Typeglot remains protected software.

Typeglot, its software, branding, documentation, interface, prompts, service logic and other protected materials remain the property of the operator or its licensors. These terms grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the application for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership or permit reverse engineering, resale, unauthorised copying or circumvention except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.

Open-source components are governed by their respective licences. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted by those licences. For LGPL-covered components, this includes modifying the library portions, reverse engineering the combined work to debug those modifications, using the corresponding application code to recombine or relink it with a modified library, and installing and running the resulting combined work. Applicable notices, source and replacement instructions accompany the corresponding desktop release. These permissions do not waive authentication, subscription, usage-limit or security requirements for Typeglot's online service.

11. Responsibility and liability

Review important output.

Speech recognition, formatting and translation can make mistakes. You are responsible for checking names, numbers, deadlines, contractual language and other important output before using it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer remedies, liability for intentional conduct or gross negligence, personal injury, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those protections, Typeglot is not responsible for losses caused solely by unreviewed automated output, an unsuitable destination application, the user's internet failure or use outside the product's stated purpose where Typeglot did not cause the loss.

12. Suspension and termination

Serious misuse can end access.

Typeglot may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risk, unlawful use, abusive automation, a material breach or a binding legal requirement. Where appropriate and safe, Typeglot will explain the reason and provide a support route.

You may stop using the application at any time. Stopping use does not itself cancel a paid subscription. Use the Creem customer portal or contact support to schedule cancellation.

13. Terms changes and governing rules

Material changes will be communicated fairly.

Typeglot may update these terms for security, legal compliance, provider changes, compatibility, abuse prevention, reliability or material product development. Material adverse changes affecting an active digital service will be communicated in advance on a durable medium where required, together with any applicable no-cost termination right. The effective version will remain available on this page.

These terms are governed by Polish law. This choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of the consumer's habitual residence, nor does it restrict a consumer's mandatory right to bring proceedings before a competent court.

14. Contact, complaints and dispute help

Questions and complaints.

Email hello@typeglot.com. Typeglot aims to acknowledge ordinary support within two business days and will answer a consumer complaint on a durable medium within 14 days.

A Polish consumer may obtain free help through UOKiK consumer-help channels, a local consumer ombudsman or a consumer organisation. Eligible disputes may also be submitted to a competent permanent consumer arbitration court. Use of ADR is voluntary unless applicable law provides otherwise. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is no longer available.
