Consumer and billing policy

Refunds and cancellations.

Cancel future renewal at any time, exercise an eligible withdrawal right online and contact Typeglot promptly if the product or payment is not right.

Effective 20 August 2026. Last reviewed 26 August 2026.

1. Trial and free plan

No payment method is required.

The seven-day Typeglot trial begins after email verification and does not require a card. It does not convert automatically into a paid subscription. If you do not purchase, access moves to the permanent free plan after the trial ends or its total allowance is reached.

2. Cancelling renewal

Cancellation applies at the end of the paid period.

You may schedule cancellation at any time through the Creem customer portal or by contacting Typeglot support. A scheduled cancellation stops future renewal but preserves paid access through the period already paid for.

Deleting the application or stopping use does not cancel the subscription.

3. Refund requests

Contact Typeglot or use your statutory route.

Email hello@typeglot.com from the purchase email and include the Creem order or receipt reference, the purchase date and a short explanation. Do not send card or bank-account details.

Typeglot aims to acknowledge ordinary support within two business days and will answer a consumer complaint on a durable medium within 14 days. Creem processes approved refunds because it is the merchant of record. Creem may also issue refunds where required by law, payment rules, fraud controls or its Buyer Terms.

Typeglot does not offer a separate voluntary satisfaction guarantee or discretionary refund window. The seven-day no-card trial is provided so users can evaluate Typeglot before buying. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights or refunds required by applicable law.

4. Consumer withdrawal

EU consumers generally have 14 days.

An EU consumer who concludes the contract online generally has 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason. Typeglot does not treat receipt of a licence key, installation or a first dictation as an automatic loss of that right.

If you expressly requested that the paid service begin during the withdrawal period and then validly withdraw, a lawful proportionate amount may be payable for the service already provided. A completed service may lose the withdrawal right only where every statutory condition has been satisfied. Typeglot does not rely on that exception merely because an ongoing subscription was activated.

Use the online withdrawal function or email an unambiguous withdrawal statement to hello@typeglot.com before the deadline. The online function records the receipt time and sends confirmation by email. Creem's Buyer Terms also describe the merchant-of-record purchase and withdrawal process.

5. Digital-service conformity

Mandatory remedies remain intact.

If Typeglot does not conform to the contract, you may request that it be brought into conformity free of charge, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience. Where the statutory conditions are met, you may also be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or termination.

Typeglot does not use a blanket "no refunds" rule to override statutory withdrawal, conformity or complaint remedies.

6. Access after payment events

What happens to the licence.

  • Scheduled cancellation: paid access continues until the paid period ends.
  • Past-due renewal: paid access continues temporarily while payment recovery is in progress, with a payment warning where appropriate.
  • Confirmed unpaid status or final expiry: paid access ends and returns to the free plan where eligible.
  • Completed refund: paid access ends immediately and returns to the free plan where eligible.
  • Chargeback: paid access ends immediately while the transaction is reversed or disputed.
  • Duplicate or mistaken payment: contact support promptly so Typeglot and Creem can investigate.

7. Payment disputes

Give support a chance to resolve the issue.

If you do not recognise a charge or believe a payment is wrong, contact Typeglot and Creem promptly. This can often resolve duplicate charges, cancellation timing or delivery problems faster than a bank dispute. This request does not remove any right to contact your payment provider or exercise a statutory remedy.
