If your browser or Windows asks you to confirm

Typeglot 2.18 is signed, but a newly released executable can still show a reputation warning while it builds download history. Treat every warning seriously and continue only when the source, filename and publisher match this page.

Chrome download warning

  1. Open Chrome Downloads and review the warning. If Chrome offers an additional safety scan, use it.
  2. Continue or keep the file only if you started the download on typeglot.com and the filename is Typeglot_v2.18-x.exe.
  3. If Chrome identifies malware, calls the file dangerous after scanning, or the source is different, delete it and contact Typeglot support.

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen

  1. If Windows says the app is unrecognized, select More info.
  2. Confirm that the publisher shown is ERGON LABS. If it matches, select Run anyway.
  3. If the publisher is Unknown, different, or the signature is invalid, stop. Do not disable Defender or Smart App Control.

Install and activate in three steps

  1. Download and open Typeglot

If you are updating, close the running Typeglot process first. Keep your previous executable until the new version completes one successful dictation.

  2. Copy the code from your email

Paste the one-time code into the Typeglot Access field. It expires after 24 hours and is replaced with a protected credential stored on your Windows account.

  3. Complete your first dictation

Select Normal Mode, choose the language you will speak, place your cursor in the destination app and use the recording hotkey shown in Typeglot.
