Typeglot is designed to process the current dictation without building a Typeglot cloud archive of what you said or the text returned.

What happens to a dictation.
Audio stays memory-only in Typeglot
The app processes audio in memory for the current dictation and is designed not to write an audio recording to disk.
No Typeglot content archive
Typeglot does not intentionally log dictated audio, temporary transcripts or returned text in its commercial database or diagnostics.
Operational data is separate
Limited non-content information is still needed for licensing, quotas, service security, reliability and support.
Cloud processing without a Typeglot content archive
Processing location and retention are different questions.
Typeglot sends the current request for processing because the service runs in the cloud. That does not mean Typeglot places the request in a searchable customer-content archive.
Typeglot's current processors and their roles are identified in the Privacy Policy. The public policy conservatively assumes that the request-content processor may retain inference data for reliability and abuse monitoring for up to 30 days. Typeglot does not claim unconditional zero data retention.
Content Typeglot is designed not to archive

Request content
Typeglot's design avoids creating its own content archive. Third-party processing remains subject to the conservative retention disclosure in the Privacy Policy.
The destination app is separate
Once Typeglot pastes text into email, chat, a document or an AI service, that destination's own privacy settings and retention rules apply.
Typeglot retains limited non-content operational information for licensing, service security and reliability. Read the Privacy Policy for categories, purposes and retention periods.
Practical privacy
Use the right destination for sensitive work.
- Review the privacy settings of the app receiving the pasted text.
- Avoid dictating secrets into an untrusted or shared destination field.
- Confirm that the correct window and text cursor are active before recording.
- Contact Typeglot before using the product for regulated or contractually restricted data.
